Is Iron Chef Morimoto a Shoe Chef Fan?

OK, I admit that I’m  not tired of watching Alton Brown and the Iron Chefs.  While scuffing around my pedestrian kitchen fixing a meal of havarti dill & pear grilled cheese for one,  I can elevate my imaginary chef status by predicting and “advising” the contestants.  Last week Alton Brown commented on the great tool Chef Morimoto was using to tenderize his meat.  We think he may have been inspired by the early Shoe Chef blog 5 Star Steak on a 2 Star Budget where we featured a Jacard knife meat tenderizer.   Check it out again–it might release your inner Iron Chef.  I’m still not convinced that venison ice cream is a good thing!
